Photonic Science sCMOS cameras use the best in class sCMOS sensors combined with our state-of-the-art low noise electronics to provide outstanding image quality for light starved applications.
sCMOS technology provides both low and high gain outputs and when combined in our camera electronics gives a “best of both worlds” camera image with both sub electron readout noise and high 16-bit intra scene dynamic range. The extremely low noise results in much better signal to noise ratio for images where there are only a few photons per pixel per frame, which is ideal for the applications such as surveillance, astronomy and life sciences.
